TL;DR
Both official GTA 6 trailers in one place, embedded directly from the Rockstar Games YouTube channel. Trailer 1 confirmed the return to Vice City. Trailer 2 revealed Jason and Lucia and locked the November 19, 2026 release date.
Trailer 2 — May 6, 2025
The second official trailer revealed Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos as the dual protagonists, deeper looks at Vice City and the surrounding state of Leonida, the criminal conspiracy at the heart of the story, and a fresh slate of locations including beaches, swamps, strip malls, and the Florida Keys analogue.
What Trailer 2 confirmed:
- Dual protagonists: Jason Duval (male) and Lucia Caminos (female)
- Lucia is the first non-optional female protagonist in series history
- Setting confirmed as the State of Leonida with Vice City as its centerpiece
- Locations shown: Vice City beachfront, Grassrivers, Leonida Keys, Ambrosia, Mount Kalaga National Park
- Time-of-day shifts and weather variation previously unseen in the series
- Tone leans on a stylish neo-noir crime story with a Bonnie-and-Clyde framing
Trailer 1 — December 4, 2023

What we expect from Trailer 3
Based on the cadence of prior Rockstar launches (GTA V got three trailers in the run-up), expect a third trailer in August–September 2026, roughly 8–10 weeks before the November 19 launch. The third trailer historically focuses on gameplay systems — heists, mission structure, online integration. We’ll cover it live the day it drops.
